Jazmine Marie Jazmine Marie Sullivan (born 9th April 1987) is an American R&B and soul singer. She was born and raised in Philadelphia, her debut album, Fearless was released in 2008. It was a top hit on Billboard's Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums charts and was certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America. The album was followed by four singles which included "Need U Good" and "Bust Your Windows" and both were in the top 40 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart; it was the first single Sullivan had and the only one to be a top-ten hit on the Billboard Hot Hip-Hop/R&B Songs chart. Sullivan was able to follow this up with her second album of studio work, Love Me Back, in the year 2010, and was received favorably by reviewers. After a break of three years, Sullivan signed with RCA Records. In the year 2015 she debuted Reality Show, her first studio album. The album was her first one to debut at the top on the Top R&B Albums Charts. Her critically acclaimed album Heaux Tales, which features the top-selling single "Pickup Your Feelings", is due out in 2021. Sullivan has received Two Grammy Awards, a Billboard Women in Music Award, two Soul Train Music Awards, three NAACP Image Awards, and two BET Awards throughout the span of her career. Time has named her one of their 100 Most Influential Persons in 2022.
