Meredith Salenger

Salenger has been raised and lived in Malibu. Salenger loved performing for her family and close friends when she was a child. At the age of eight when her mother enrolled her in her first acting course. The actress played the role as "a dancing and singing orphan" in John Huston's feature film Annie. Salenger is also part of the commercials of a couple of television networks. Salenger was cast as the lead as a character in The Journey of Natty Gann by Disney, which starred John Cusack alongside Ray Wise. This film won the Moscow Film Festival's gold award as the first US-made movie. Salenger was also named "Best Actress in Drama" in the Youth in Film Awards, because of her portrayal of the sexy Natty. She was also in four films before turning age 18.
