Ally Sheedy Bio

Alexandra Elizabeth Sheedy has been an American actress since 1983. In 1983, she made her debut on screen in Bad Boys. Later she joined the Bratpack band and was a star in WarGames The Breakfast Club Short Circuit. For her performance of Lisa Cholodenko's High Art Sheedy won the Independent Spirit Award for Best Female Leading Actress. Sheedy wed David Lansbury on April 12 in 1992. David Lansbury was the son of Edgar Lansbury who produced Godspell and was the cousin of Angela Lansbury. They also have a son Beckett, born in 1994. Sheedy admitted that she's learned a great deal from Beckett. Alexandra Elizabeth Ally Sheedy (born June 13, 1962) is an American stage and film actress in addition to the author of two books.
